Sanovo Solutions is a Danish environmental consultancy and engineering company, specialised in the egg processing industry. We operate within three core areas: water and wastewater treatment, energy optimisation and residual treatment.

Concerns about the environment and fear of disease spreading have caused authorities around the world to adopt stricter environmental legislation. For egg processors this has resulted in increased costs for disposal and discharge of waste and wastewater. Inauguration of New Wastewater Treatment System for Egg Processors on July 8

Sanovo Solutions is very pleased to announce the inauguration of a new wastewater treatment system specially developed for the egg processing industry. The majority of the pollution in wastewater from an egg processing plant derives from the egg loading and breaking activity. Through coagulation, the non-degraded egg materials remaining in the process water is removed without using any chemicals to coagulate the water. The system enables a reduction of the pollution load in the outlet water of 70-90%. The remaining egg fraction constitutes a valuable product and can be sold to the agricultural industry, for instance as animal feed ingredient. The egg mass can also be further dried in an eggshell dryer if preferred. There are no high sludge disposal costs, as it is the case with a conventional treatment plant. The system is containerised, and installed in a 40-feet container. This event will take place on the 8 of July 2008 at the facilities of Sanovo Environmental Solutions.
